EMPOWER, created by Hannah Kay, began as a supportive community for women, offering a 6-month Private Programme designed to promote self-love, confidence, and personal growth. This programme incorporated elements like journaling, meditation, movement, and breathwork, creating a space where participants could explore topics such as identity, resilience, and self-worth in small, intimate groups. Alongside this, EMPOWER also hosted events like day retreats and open sessions to make its ethos accessible to a wider audience.
Looking ahead to 2025, EMPOWER aims to expand its reach by transitioning from the original programme format into multiple small-scale events. These events will provide opportunities for more women to experience the transformative and empowering ethos of EMPOWER, making it inclusive and accessible to a broader community.

Over the course of 6 months, you cover a wide array of different elements such as journaling, breathwork, meditation and movement, all with the aim of self-development aligning with the values of EMPOWER. This programme is a smaller tight knit setting, with maximum of 10 people per intake, making it exclusive and tailored to the members of that group.

The 'EMPOWER' Experience

The EMPOWER Experience is a weekend designed to refill your cup — through movement, creativity, connection, and time in nature.
You'll stay in beautiful log cabins on a peaceful site just outside York, with access to a private barn and open outdoor spaces all weekend.
Our itinerary is full of energising, grounding and creative sessions — all completely optional, so you can join everything or pick what feels right for you.

Mindfulness & Meditation X The Recharge Hub
Discover the power of self-care and inner calm in our MONTHLY Mindfulness & Meditation class.
In Collaboration with The Recharge Hub (Fitness & Wellness Facility) This session is designed to help you reconnect with yourself, manage stress, and find peace amidst the hustle of daily life. We’ll explore a variety of mindfulness techniques, including deep breathing exercises, guided meditations, and journaling prompts to help clear your mind and center your thoughts.
What to bring: A pen, notepad, and an open mind! You’re welcome to bring a blanket or cushion for extra comfort during meditation.
Whether you’re new to mindfulness or looking to deepen your practice, this class is a gentle way to nourish both your mind and body. Join us for an hour of tranquility and self-care.
Open to non-members of TEAM HQ Gym at a £5 fee.

In the past, we have seen that from hearing others share their stories, it can be a huge motivator for others to share theirs as well.
